Lynette Pretorius

Lynette Pretorius has over a decade of work experience in various industries. In 2009, they began their career as a Special Projects and Events Assistant at Woodsworth College Residence. Lynette then worked as a Special Projects Assistant and Sustainability Peer Facilitator at the University of Toronto Office of Student Life in 2010. The following year, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University. From 2012 to 2020, they held various roles at Target, including Store Team Leader, Executive Field Specialist, and Executive Team Leader - Softlines. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Top Hat as a Director of Customer Success, Senior Manager, Change Management, Senior Manager, Customer Success & Enablement, Manager, Customer Onboarding, Team Lead, Customer Onboarding, and Account Manager. Since 2020, they have been a Senior Lead, Global Merchant Experience (Customer Success) and Global Merchant Success Lead at Shopify, and is currently the VP, Operations at Carbon6.

Lynette Pretorius attended Queen's University from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Master's degree in English Language and Literature. Lynette then attended the University of Toronto - Woodsworth College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned an HBA in English and Human Biology.
