Cindy McLaughlin

Cindy McLaughlin has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Product at CarbonBuilt. Cindy also serves as an Advisor at URB-E and has worked as a Startup Advisor for various companies since 2013. From 2016 to 2021, Cindy was the Founding CEO of Envelope, a company specializing in hyperlocal acquisitions analytics for real estate. Prior to that, they held the position of President, Content + Consumer at American Prison Data Systems from 2013 to 2015. Cindy co-founded Style for Hire in 2008 and served as Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO until 2013. Before that, they co-founded Abaete, Inc. in 2003 and held the role of President until 2006. Earlier in their career, Cindy worked at Federated Department Stores as Manager of Merchant Process and Systems and at ProfitLogic as a Project Manager. Cindy started their career at TowerGroup as a Research Analyst/Consultant from 1996 to 1998.

Cindy McLaughlin's education history begins with their graduation from Amherst Regional High School in 1988. Cindy then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College, completing their studies in 1992. After gaining their undergraduate degree, they decided to further their education at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology / Strategy in the years 1998 to 2000.
