VP Science at CarbonCloud

Erik Edlund's work experience includes various roles in the field of science, data, and modeling. Erik currently serves as the VP Science at CarbonCloud, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist in Data and Modeling from June 2020 to October 2021 at the same company.

During their time as a PhD Student, they also served as the main lecturer for the course "Simulation of Complex Systems" from 2011 to 2013 and supervised a Bachelor of Science thesis on the topic of "Cellular Automata and Pattern Formation."

Erik Edlund has a strong educational background with degrees from Chalmers University of Technology. Erik pursued their Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they completed their Master of Science in Complex Adaptive Systems from 2007 to 2009 at the same institution. Erik's educational journey continued as they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Complex Systems from Chalmers University of Technology, completing their degree between 2010 and 2014. Erik'seducation demonstrates a specialization in the field of engineering physics and complex systems, which indicates a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of these fields.
