Tom Baird

Tom Baird is currently the Vice President of Global Policy & Advocacy and Corporate Relations Europe at Shell, a position they have held since 2025. Baird serves on the Board of Directors at Carbonext and as a Trustee at the Shell Foundation. Previously, Baird worked as a Speechwriter and Communications Specialist for BG Group, where they developed a global sustainability communications strategy, and held various roles at Shell in sustainability and communications. Baird’s educational background includes a degree in English Literature and Music from Durham University and ongoing studies in Sustainability Business Management at the University of Cambridge.
