Martin Daniel

Martin Daniel has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Martin co-founded Carbonfact, a company focused on decarbonizing the fashion industry, and was part of the YCombinator Summer 2021 batch. Martin also founded Covidliste, where they developed the largest waiting list for a Covid-19 vaccine in France and collaborated with French authorities. Martin worked at Airbnb as a Data Science Lead from 2017 to 2021 and as a Data Scientist from 2015 to 2017. Martin lectured at Le Wagon, a highly regarded coding bootcamp, from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they spent several years at fifty-five, where they served as the Head of Data Science and led the development of advanced analytics projects. Martin began their career at Google in a media solutions role. Martin also briefly worked as a Brand Strategist Junior at BETC. Overall, they have a strong background in data science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Martin Daniel has a diverse education history. In 2021, they attended Y Combinator, where they pursued a degree in YC S21. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Martin also holds a Master's in Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from ESCP Business School. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning through a MOOC offered by Stanford University in January 2012.
