Clara Johnson

Clara Johnson has worked in various roles in the Engineering industry since 2017. Clara'smost recent position is as a Project Engineer at CarbonQuest, which they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Engineer at Vessel Technologies, Inc. from January to June 2021. Clara also completed an internship as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace USA from June to August 2020.

In 2019, Johnson completed a Co-Op as a Process Engineer at Corning Incorporated. Clara'sresponsibilities included working with development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to improve process capability and understanding. Clara also conducted process data analysis and experiment data analysis, designed, planned, and executed experiments to answer technical objectives of the project, and presented results in weekly technical meetings.

Before that, they worked as an Engineering and Construction Intern at Vermont Gas Systems, Inc. from May to August 2018. Clara also served as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Processes and Physics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2017 to 2018, where they taught students the essentials for Physics 1, encouraged critical thinking skills, and provided tutoring for upcoming exams.

Clara Johnson earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2016 and 2020.
