Jan Sherman

Jan Sherman is the co-founder and Chief Development Officer at Carbonvert Inc., specializing in carbon capture and storage. They retired from Shell after 30 years, most recently serving as General Manager for US Carbon Capture & Storage where they led initiatives to reduce Shell's carbon footprint. Jan's previous roles included Vice President of Commercial & Land for Shell's Upstream Unconventional business and Development Manager for the Perdido Field in Shell's Deepwater division. Jan holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and actively contributes to the Texas A&M University Petroleum Engineering Industry Board and the National Board for the Women's Energy Network.
