Michael Roberts

Michael Roberts has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2008. Michael began their career as a Tech Services/Help Desk for SUNY Oneonta in 2008. Michael then went on to become an Intern for Drive Music and Overit Media in 2009. In 2010, they became a Web Designer/Developer for Joomla Packages, and in 2011 they became a Senior Web Developer for Koss Resource. Since 2013, they have been a Product Engineer at CARD.com, working across multiple products, teams, and technologies, including backend systems (PHP, NodeJS), data analytics (R), frontend (Angular, React, Vue), and mobile (Angular/Capacitor, React Native, Swift, Java). Michael is currently leading development on two different mobile apps, and has previously worked on building out APIs, backend php systems, third-party integrations, and frontend development.

Michael Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Oneonta in 2009, with a major in Music Industry and a minor in Graphic Design. Michael began their studies at SUNY Oneonta in 2004.
