Alexander Ivanov has a long history of working in the technology industry. In 2007, they began working as a Werkstudent at entrada Kommunikations GmbH. In 2011, they became the Chief Product Officer at BookitNow!, a hotel booking app for mobile devices in Europe. In 2013, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Rivalfox, a Proactive Competitive Intelligence Software. In 2017, they became the Chief Product Officer at Tatar Holding, where the company's market capitalization increased from $100M to over $1B in just 24 months. In 2018, they became the Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder at Buchdeals GmbH, a platform and community that pairs professional book selection with the reader and interest-based curation. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Collectbase Inc., an innovative aggregator where alternative asset class collectors and investors can access unprecedented levels of valuation data.

Alexander Ivanov obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Business Information Systems from Paderborn University between 2007 and 2010. Alexander then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Information Systems from The University of Göttingen between 2010 and 2012.
