Cris Andersen, CPA has over 13 years of work experience in the accounting and finance industry. From 2008 to 2021, they have held various roles at Ernst & Young, ViaSat Inc., Obalon Therapeutics, Brain Corp, Vuori, and Cardea Bio Inc.

At Ernst & Young, Cris served as an Audit Senior, where they conducted financial statement audits for clients across different markets and identified and reported on risks.

At ViaSat Inc., Cris was promoted from Revenue Accountant to Senior Financial Analyst, where they were responsible for assessing the quarterly reconciliation of $300M in consolidated revenues and generating buy-in from senior management on different capital investment programs.

At Obalon Therapeutics, Cris was the Director of Accounting & Senior Accounting Manager, where they administered the month-end close process and participated in roadshows with the CFO to acquire 3 investments offerings and generate over $25M.

At Brain Corp, Cris was the Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager, where they supervised financial reporting on changes to accounting policies and metrics and drove the execution of the FY20 audit for KPMG auditors.

At Vuori, Cris was the Assistant Controller, where they oversaw the monthly accounting cycle and facilitated the shift from Full Circle to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

At Cardea Bio Inc., Cris is currently the Controller & Director of Finance, where they direct all accounting and controllership processes and is supporting the company’s Pre-IPO tasks by advancing series A funding. During the fourth financing round, they raised over $1.

Cris Andersen, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida Atlantic University between 2001 and 2005. Cris then went on to receive a Master of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University between 2006 and 2007. In 2011, they obtained a CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
