Peter Adam has had extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Peter started their career at Roger D Adam Co. in 1987 as a Machinist working on injection molds, where they worked until 1993. Peter then joined Physio Control as a Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 1994. Following that, they worked at Heart Technology as a Plastics Parts Engineer from 1994 to 1995. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Fluke. Peter then joined Stratos as a Mechanical Engineer and Product Design & Development Specialist, working there until 2001. After that, they worked at CODONICS as an Engineering Product Manager and Sr. Mechanical Engineer from 2001 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Diversey as a Principal Mechanical Engineer and stayed with the company until 2023. Currently, they are working at Cardiac Dimensions as a Principle R&D Engineer.
Peter Adam obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained a Basic Medical Sciences Certificate from the University of Washington in June 2004, a Design and Application of Electrical Contacts certification from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in November 1993, a Wilderness First Aid certification from CPR Seattle in March 2023, and became a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and completed Operational Excellence Foundations courses from LinkedIn in April 2023.
