The Cardiac Innovation Center of Apollonion Hospital provides treatment alternatives for patients of all ages requiring cardiac surgery. Our center was established to cover a significant need in the care of patients with congenital heart diseases, as well as to provide quality care to patients with basic and complex acquired heart diseases.

Our center is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and systems, in accordance with German standards of care, to deliver a high quality of health care, all covered under the GESY framework, with no additional expense to the patient or the healthcare system.

Our team concentrates its efforts on high-performance medical wards (intensive and intermediate care) to ensure that all patients receive intensive nursing care and medical supervision to achieve the quickest possible recovery.

Successful treatment requires not only medical competence but also affection and human warmth. Our team consists of cardiac surgeons, cardio-anaesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, perfusionists (extracorporeal circulation system technicians) and trained nursing staff, 
ensuring that patients are in capable hands and well looked after.
