Pr. Emmanuel Messas is an MD PhD and Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, currently serving as the Head of the Cardiovascular (CV) Prevention and Vascular Medicine Department at Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou in Paris. They also lead the CV ultrasound Echolab and are involved in innovative research focused on CV ultrasound imaging and therapy for heart failure and vascular diseases. Between 1999 and 2001, they were a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, under the mentorship of renowned cardiologist Professor Robert A. Levine. Emmanuel has co-founded several startups, including Octogone Medical and Cardiawave, which develop groundbreaking technologies in non-invasive ultrasound therapy and imaging. Their academic journey includes ongoing PhD studies in Medical Bioengineering and a Doctorate in Medicine from Lariboisiere Medical School in Paris.
