Clayton Mitchell has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Clayton began their career as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, working on various projects that were published in academic journals. Clayton then moved on to Research In Motion, where they were responsible for developing and implementing a program for BlackBerry resellers. After that, Clayton worked as an Online Marketing Director for MovieSet, where they executed innovative marketing campaigns. Clayton also worked as a Strategic Planner at Hot Tomali, helping clients develop and execute strategic plans. Furthermore, Clayton was a Director of Insights & Growth at POWERSHiFTER, working on projects primarily for TELUS. Clayton also taught as a Digital Marketing Instructor at BCIT and an Instructor for Social Media Metrics at the University of British Columbia. In their most recent role, Clayton worked for Merkle | Cardinal Path as an Associate Director and Principal Consultant in the field of Data Science. Additionally, they have been self-employed, working as a Digital Strategist on various projects for The Dilawri Group and The City of Surrey.

Clayton Mitchell obtained an MBA in Marketing from Simon Fraser University, where they attended from 2000 to 2006. Before that, they completed a University Transfer Program in Business at Capilano University from 1998 to 1999.
