Dan Burns

Dan Burns is the current advisor at CardinalOps. Dan has also served as CEO and co-founder of Accuvant from January 2002 to August 2015. Dan is a research driven information security expert who has delivered a comprehensive suite of solutions and services for enterprise-class organizations. Prior to their work at Accuvant, Dan was the advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Optiv Inc from January 2002 to October 2020.

Dan Burns studied economics at San Jose State University and received their bachelor's degree from the school. Dan then attended Iowa State University for their graduate studies.
