Sofia Ciprian

Sofia Ciprian is a versatile professional currently serving as a Content Management Associate at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation since September 2023, and as a Media and Communications Assistant at Defying Gender Roles since April 2022. Prior experience includes working as an English Language Assistant for the Comunidad de Madrid, where Sofia supported over 60 students, and an Editorial Intern for Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society, along with a role as a Program Assistant in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at Northeastern University. Sofia also interned with Oxfam America, contributing to lobbying efforts and social media initiatives, and gained experience at Camacho & Gardner Associates in legal support for Spanish-speaking clients. Additionally, Sofia served as a lifeguard at Wyckoff Family YMCA, ensuring the safety and well-being of campers. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Northeastern University, complemented by a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
