Ann Penner

Ann Penner is currently the Vice President of the Trade Practice at Wellington Advocacy and serves on the Board of Directors at Cardus. They have held roles as Principal at AEP Communications and as an Adjunct Professor at both Trinity Western University and the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. Ann has a significant background in trade policy, having worked as a Trade Policy Analyst and later in leadership roles at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. They completed their PhD in Political Science at Carleton University, following a Master’s degree from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
