Chris Ebert

Chris has more than 20 years of international experience in sales, business development, strategic product marketing, and product development in the Internet and IP wireless industry. With a proven track record in defining and bringing new technologies to market, he has played instrumental roles in the introduction of key technologies, from most recently Video 2.0, Cloud, Virtualization, and the Internet-of-Things (IoT), to the roll-out of the first wireless data networks and bringing the internet to wireless phones and devices.

Chris possesses a broad perspective on the IoT industry, having held senior-level positions with industry leader, Nokia Networks and notable start-ups Tatara Systems (Acquisition), Tahoe Networks (Acquisition), and Openwave, formerly Unwired Planet the birthplace of the wireless Internet (IPO) and earlier in his career working for Tier 1 operators AT&T (formerly Ameritech), United States Cellular and the Southern Company.

An accomplished public speaker, Chris has been a frequent spokesperson at industry events and trade shows. He has developed and conducted topical technical and business model webinars and has authored multiple published articles to his credit. He is currently on the advisory board of Vinja Video and Key2Mobile and has advised several other innovative start-ups.
