Amina Abdullahi

Health Sector Lead

Amina Abdullahi is a health professional with extensive experience in various roles within public health and healthcare management. Amina served at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) from August 2019 to January 2021, taking on positions such as CHIPS Programme Officer and Deputy Programme Manager for multiple initiatives, including the Mass Vaccination Campaign and the COVID-19 Sample Collection Centre. Amina currently holds the position of Health Sector Lead at CARE, starting in November 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Foundation Doctor at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust and working as a Medical Officer for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria and at the Federal Ministry of Health. Amina holds an MA in Global Governance and Sustainable Development from Middlesex University Dubai and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Hull York Medical School.
