Crystal Lander currently serves as Associate Vice President at CARE since May 2025, having previously held the position of Executive Vice President at Pathfinder International from July 2020 to February 2025. In that role, Crystal led the Global Affairs and Communications teams and directed external engagement, partnerships, and advocacy. Prior professional experiences include serving as Director of Advocacy at Living Goods, Senior Director of Policy, Advocacy and Communications at Management Sciences for Health, and Senior Advocacy Advisor at the Centre for Development and Population Activities. Crystal's career began as Campus Program Director at the Feminist Majority Foundation, followed by a managerial role at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Crystal's education includes a Doctoral Candidate in International Public Health at Indiana University, a Master’s in International Public Health & Health Policy from Tulane University, and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Michigan.
