Jonathan Arogeti

Jonathan Arogeti is a highly experienced humanitarian professional currently serving as a Humanitarian Action Senior Manager and Caribbean Humanitarian Response Lead at CARE since January 2020. Arogeti has held various significant roles within CARE, including Emergency Response Advisor for CARE Syria, Humanitarian Planning & Communications Manager, and Interim Deputy Country Director - Program for CARE Afghanistan. Arogeti's extensive background includes managing grants and information in the West Bank & Gaza, coordinating humanitarian communication in Haiti and Kenya, as well as serving in roles with CARE Sudan and Türkiye. Prior to joining CARE, Arogeti held roles in public service, including Project Manager for CARE Enterprises, Inc., Campaign Manager for John Barrow for Georgia Secretary of State, and Policy Advisor within the U.S. House of Representatives. Arogeti holds a Master of Science in Humanitarian Action from the University of San Diego and dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Spanish from The University of Georgia, complemented by a certificate in Advanced Spanish Conversation and Culture from Universidad de Cádiz.
