Sara Leister

Sara Leister possesses a diverse professional background with extensive experience in program management, project management, and operations. Beginning a career in guest services at Comfort Inn Bellingham, Sara progressed to project management roles at PJ Hummel & Company, Inc., and later served multiple positions at VisionFund International, including Program Integration Manager and Program Management Officer. In a subsequent role at World Vision, Sara excelled as the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Manager. Most recently, Sara held the position of Project and Operations Manager at Slalom from April 2021 to January 2024 and currently serves as the Interim Assistant Country Director for Program Quality at CARE. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Economics, and TESOL from Western Washington University.
