Anna Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, grants management, and compliance within the nonprofit sector, particularly at CARE International. Currently serving as the Director of Operations since November 2019, Anna provides leadership for program support functions and ensures timely and compliant support for the Country Office. Previous roles include managing grants and contracts in Rwanda, and holding multiple leadership positions in Sierra Leone, including Head of Grant and Compliance, and Acting Country Representative. Anna has a solid educational background, holding an Executive Master’s in Business Administration focusing on Project Management, along with several professional certifications in project management and risk management.
