Alex Tang

Alex Tang, PA-C, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Alex is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Strategy & Innovation at CareAbout since December 2022. Previously, they founded MedTriarch Group LLC in September 2021.

Alex has also held the position of VP of Clinical Strategy and Innovation at Rendr from October 2021 to February 2024. During their tenure at Rendr, they developed and implemented innovative healthcare solutions such as rendr at home to improve patient accessibility and outcomes. Alex also played a key role in establishing external relationships and overseeing enterprise-wide clinical initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Alex served as the Clinical Director at Chinese American IPA, Inc. from September 2018 to October 2021. In this role, they provided leadership and clinical expertise in decision-making processes, managed and mentored a team, and formulated strategies for managing different risk pools.

Alex's prior experience includes working as a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant at NYU Langone Health from March 2014 to September 2018, and as a Trauma Surgery / Critical Care Physician Assistant at NYU School of Medicine from November 2008 to February 2014.

Alex Tang, PA-C, MBA, completed their education at Quinnipiac University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Prior to that, they attended LIU Brooklyn from 2004 to 2008, receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physician Assistant. Alex completed their high school education at The Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences from 1999 to 2003.
