Scott Oakes

Scott Oakes, ASA, MAAA has a strong background in the actuarial field. Scott is currently working at CareCentrix as a Senior Director - Actuary, a role they took on in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Director - Actuary from November 2020 to October 2021. Before joining CareCentrix, Scott worked at Aetna, a CVS Health Company in various actuarial roles. These roles included Assistant Actuary from April 2018 to March 2019, Senior Actuarial Consultant from April 2017 to April 2018, Actuarial Consultant from March 2015 to April 2017, and Financial Associate from March 2014 to March 2015. Scott started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company in October 2011 and worked there until March 2014. Overall, Scott has gained extensive experience and expertise in the actuarial field throughout their career.

Scott Oakes, ASA, MAAA received a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from the University of Central Florida in 2011. Scott obtained their ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) certification from the Society of Actuaries in 2017. Scott is also a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
