Andrew Smith has been working in the technology industry since 2001 when they began their career at Accenture. Andrew held the role of Executive Partner | Geschäftsführer in the Workplace Technology and Collaboration consulting practice in EALA, where they were responsible for global strategy including Mobility and Collaborative Portals. Andrew also sold and led multiple large-scale global end-user collaboration, mobility and productivity deployments. In 2007, they moved to Avanade and held various roles, including Head of Avanade Digital, Europe, Head of Service Lines, Europe Africa and Latin America, and General Manager / CEO, Germany - Switzerland - Austria. In 2018, they joined designaffairs GmbH as Managing Director | Board Member and was responsible for the company's strategic product design consultancy. In 2019, they moved to Zielpuls GmbH as Managing Director | Board Member and was responsible for engineering and technology-oriented business consultancy. In 2020, they joined The Mindful AI Manifesto as Ambassador Germany and carecircle AG as Founder. Andrew is currently working at ProServ - Premier ServiceNow Partner as Advisor | Beirat and at ESR Labs GmbH as Managing Director | Board Member. Andrew also holds the role of Creative Ventures & Technology.

Andrew Smith completed a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Cambridge between 1985 and 1988, specializing in Pure, Applied and Applicable Mathematics. Andrew then completed a Master of Information Technology degree from UCL in 1992, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Andrew has also obtained certifications from ORCID, Udacity, Scrum.org, and the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, including an ORCID iD (Research) in April 2021, a Udacity Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree in March 2018, a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) in April 2016, and a Data or Specimens Only Research in April 2021.
