The Career Imagination Program (CIP) Uganda was founded in 2012 by a group of Ugandan Youths at the OECD summit 2012 following the realization that world over, the skills gap in the education system has not helped to address the unemployment problem. Uganda has the world’s second youngest population where 74% are below the age of 30 years but with 6.3 million youth between the ages of 18 and 30 
(UBOS statistical abstract 2015). The Youth unemployment rate is also placed at 19.7% however the UNHS 2013/2014 figures further show that the rural areas with about 77.4% of the population constitute 89.3% of Uganda’s national poverty.

To support the education system through skilling students in secondary schools, Universities and TVETS with on demand relevant hands on skills. 

To support rural Youth involved in Agriculture through strong market linkages, ICT innovation and Entrepreneurial mentorship

To empower girls and enable them actively involve in development activities equally as men do to meet the millennium development goals
