CareerLabs exists to support Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston alumni as they navigate the critical transition from education to meaningful and sustainable careers. We work alongside young adults ages 18 to 24 to help them gain career clarity, build essential job readiness skills, and access professional opportunities that may otherwise feel out of reach.

Through one on one career coaching, skill building workshops, networking events, and employer partnerships, CareerLabs supports alumni at every stage of their journey. Whether an alum is exploring career options, refining a resume or LinkedIn profile, preparing for interviews, building confidence in professional spaces, or seeking access to internships and jobs, our goal is to meet them where they are and grow with them over time.

Our approach is relationship driven and community centered. We recognize that talent is everywhere, but access, guidance, and social capital are not always evenly distributed. By centering alumni voice and lived experience, CareerLabs creates pathways that are responsive, relevant, and grounded in real world expectations.

Impact for us is not defined by placement alone. It is reflected in increased confidence, stronger professional skills, expanded networks, and sustained career momentum. By connecting young adults to people, resources, and opportunities that support long term growth, CareerLabs helps alumni move from uncertainty to readiness and from potential to progress.
