Brian Keefe is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with extensive experience in the healthcare insurance sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since March 2019, Brian leads a team of over 140 professionals in managing all accounting operations, financial controls, and reporting for the $12 billion organization. Prior to this role, Brian held positions as the Vice President of Accounting at The Advisory Board Company, where modernization of accounting systems was achieved, and as Chief Financial Officer for Aetna's Capitol Region, overseeing a $2 billion market.
