Charles Ritter

Charles (Charlie) Ritter is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since March 2015, where support is provided for various categories including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Facilities Management. Prior to this role, Charlie held the position of Sr. Manager of Global Procurement at Capital One from September 2012 to March 2015, focusing on large facilities management contract negotiations for both domestic and international projects. Additionally, Charlie worked at Nationwide Insurance from April 1997 to September 2012 as the Director of Strategic Sourcing, where a world-class procurement organization for staff augmentation and professional services was developed, alongside the negotiation of significant IT outsourcing and business processing deals. Charlie is an alumnus of North Carolina State University.
