Crystal Calloway Mitchell serves as the Vice President of Communications at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since July 2024, contributing to one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organizations. Prior roles include Senior Director of Enterprise Communications at Target, Director of Global Internal Communications at Mars, Strategic Communications Consultant at Gagen MacDonald, and Director of Corporate Communications at the Defense Acquisition University. Crystal holds a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the UNC School of Media and Journalism.
