David Rathert

David Rathert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and content management. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer, Content Manager, and Team Lead at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since June 2015, David is responsible for developing and managing content for proposals, marketing documents, and client communications. In addition to leading a team and overseeing project assignments and workflow management, David coordinates the annual database validation process and manages outreach campaigns for internal champions and experts. David's previous roles include Supervisor of the Sales Support Team and Proposal Technical Writer at CareFirst, as well as Marketing Communications Writer at RDA Corporation and Communications Specialist at The Baltimore Life Insurance Company. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from Towson University and has received the CareFirst "Difference Maker" award for outstanding performance.
