Ed Scheve

Ed Scheve is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and desktop support. Currently serving as the Lead System Engineer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since July 2023, Ed manages VMware Horizon and vSphere environments for over 5000 users, oversees patch management, and supports various server infrastructures. Prior leadership as Lead Desktop Engineer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield from February 1998 to March 2020 involved deploying VDI infrastructure and providing technical guidance. Ed's background also includes roles at Other Onsite Technologies, the Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services, the Maryland Department of Transportation, and a decade of service in the US Army, showcasing a diverse skill set, including client support, system migrations, and project leadership.
