Evan Sarver

Evan Sarver is an experienced professional in risk management, compliance, and internal audit, currently serving as the Director of Risk Management and Internal Controls at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since August 2019, and previously held the role of Manager for Risk and Regulatory Compliance within the same organization. Prior to this, Evan Sarver worked at Summit Materials as the Director of Internal Audit from December 2012 to September 2018, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager in Internal Audit Services from January 2004 to November 2012. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Auditor at US Foodservice, where responsibilities encompassed executing and documenting internal audits, and as a Financial Analyst at Saks Incorporated, focusing on credit card cost analysis. Evan Sarver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, obtained in 1998.
