Kris Jensen

Kris Jensen, MPH, is an experienced professional in risk management and compliance, currently serving as the Risk Management and Compliance Lead at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since July 2020. Prior to this role, Kris was a Manager at Sigma Health Consulting, LLC, where responsibilities included providing independent audit and assurance services to VHA senior leadership and assisting the VHA Internal Audit Office in developing audit capabilities. At Booz Allen Hamilton, Kris worked as a Health Policy Strategist and Operations Consultant, focusing on communication strategies and regulatory analysis for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Earlier experience includes a role as a Health Care Consultant at Grant Thornton LLP, where a health information exchange assessment was conducted for the Georgia Department of Community Health. Kris holds a BA in Organizational Studies and a minor in Medical Anthropology from the University of Michigan, as well as an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
