Sherry Hunt

Sherry Hunt, MPA, currently serves as a Corporate Communications Consultant at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where responsibilities include leading communications strategies for executive initiatives and crafting executive messaging. Previously, Sherry was a Strategic Communications Consultant at Seeking The Sun, LLC and served as the Director of Communications and Business Development for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, overseeing strategic marketing and stakeholder engagement for a significant behavioral health agency. Sherry also held various roles in city government, including Intergovernmental Affairs and Special Projects Manager for the City of Suffolk, where Sherry represented the city in legislative matters and managed a substantial public service budget. Prior experience at Verizon involved managing customer advocacy and operational teams. Sherry is pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology while holding a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
