Stephanie Spence

Stephanie Spence, PharmD, CSP, currently serves as the Director of Specialty and Medical Drug at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since January 2019, where responsibilities include managing the health plan's specialty and medical drug trend. Concurrently, Stephanie is the Chief Executive Officer of Spence Pharmacy Services, LLC, providing consultative resources for biopharmaceutical management and chronic disease medication therapy. Previously, in various roles at Centene Corporation, including Vice President of Specialty Clinical Services, Stephanie led clinical business initiatives and developed clinical programs. Additional experience includes serving as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Prosperity Specialty Pharmacy and engaging in community health initiatives with the Center for Minority Studies. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, awarded in 2007.
