Vinish Vijayan

Vinish Vijayan has a strong background in business development, project management, and process improvement. Vinish has worked for multiple companies throughout their career. At Cognizant, they held roles such as Technology Architect and Senior Associate. In these positions, they analyzed requirements, prepared technical specifications, and proposed and implemented new processes to automate scenarios and save costs for customers. Vinish also managed and mentored cross-functional teams and coordinated between business and technology teams. Additionally, they worked as an Associate and Programmer Analyst at Cognizant.

Vinish later joined CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield as a TIBCO Developer Lead. Here, they continued to analyze requirements, prepare technical specifications, propose automation processes, and develop big data and SOA solutions. Vinish also implemented project plans and trained cross-functional teams.

Vinish Vijayan holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Govt. Model Engineering College in Kochi, Kerala, India, from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Vinish Vijayan has also obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained the TCA - TIBCO Cloud™ Integration certification and the TCA-TIBCO BusinessWorks™ certification from TIBCO. In April 2019, they received the SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Furthermore, in March 2019, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate certification from AWS.
