Shaheed Koury, MD, MBA, FACEP, currently serves as the Chief Clinical & Innovation Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at Adena Health System since January 2023. Koury has extensive experience in healthcare, including positions on the Advisory Board at CareHarmony and Professional Medical Billing, where Koury holds ownership and board membership since January 2006. Other notable roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Synchronous Health, Inc., and the Advisory Board for care.ai. Koury was Chief Medical Officer and President of Clinical Operations at Quorum Health and held various leadership positions at Community Health Systems, enhancing quality and clinical transformation. Koury’s clinical experience includes serving as an Emergency Physician at Emergency Medicine of Indiana. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky.
