Before joining Verisure, they worked at Academedia as a Project Technical Manager from 2006 to 2008 and at Högskolan i Kalmar as a Developer from 2003 to 2006.

Marcus Brattström attended Lund University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Filosofie kandidatexamen (fil.kand.) in Historia. Following this, they enrolled at Kalmar University from 1999 to 2003 and completed a Magisterexamen i informatik in Informatik.
