Ladys Rodríguez has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and research.
From 2004 to 2006, Ladys worked as a Software Developer at UNIC@Soft, where they implemented a gaming framework and created a publishing platform for multimedia contents.
From 2004 to 2008, they also served as a Professor/Researcher at the University of Ciego de Ávila, where they taught programming and data structures and supervised undergraduate theses.
During this time, they also published two conference papers and held the position of chief of studies in the Informatics Career at the School of Informatics.
From 2008 to 2012, Ladys worked as a Software Developer at Interlocus, where they developed and maintained a Windows desktop application and enhanced it using image processing techniques.
At the same time, Ladys also worked as a Researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, contributing to research projects.
Since 2013, Ladys has been employed as a Healthcare Software Developer at Interamerican Medical Center, where they interpret and transform business requirements into technical specifications and develop systems to import and manage medical data. They also create and maintain business reports based on this data.
Ladys Rodríguez pursued their education in Computer Science, starting with their Bachelor’s Degree at the Central University of Las Villas. Ladys attended from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained their undergraduate degree. Following this, they continued their academic journey and enrolled at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. There, they devoted their studies to Computer Science and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2012.
