Wayne Boatman

Wayne Boatman has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Wayne currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at CarepathRx since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Officer at ExactCare Pharmacy starting from May 2018.

From September 2014 to May 2018, Boatman held multiple roles at University Hospitals, including Senior Information Security Analyst and IT Security Analyst II.

In addition to their information security roles, Boatman also served as the President of the Governing Board of Steel Academy Inc. from March 2014 to June 2016, where they helped establish a new charter school.

Prior to Geauga Savings Bank, Boatman founded Techknowledg-e, where they provided managerial, business, technical consulting, and support services from 2001 to 2007.

Wayne also served as an IT Manager at American Midwest Mortgage Corp from February 2005 to September 2006, where they developed and designed IT infrastructure processes and managed the implementation of a new loan processing system.

Boatman began their professional journey as a Consultant at TEKsystems from 2001 to 2005.

Wayne Boatman's education history began in 1970 when they attended Lakewood SDA Elementary, where they studied without obtaining a degree. Wayne then moved on to Mount Vernon Academy from 1979 to 1982, but did not complete a degree or field of study there either. Finally, Boatman attended Cleveland State University from 1982 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Labor Relations.

In terms of additional certifications, Boatman obtained a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)² in February 2016.
