Michael Upton

Michael Upton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at CarePayment since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Viewpoint from February 2018 to March 2021 as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing various product suites and platforms.

From 2005 to 2018, Michael had multiple roles at WebMD Health Services, including Director of Partnership Strategy and Director of Product Management. Michael was responsible for integrating partner solutions into the product portfolio, evaluating potential partnerships, managing partner relationships, and improving operating processes.

Before joining WebMD, Michael worked at Timberline Software (Sage) and Timberline Software in various roles, including Product Communication Specialist, Project Manager, and Product Manager. Michael managed the Revenue Suite of applications, executed software product releases, and led Timberline's entry into the specialty contracting market.

Michael's early career involved teaching various subjects at Burlington Community School District from 1993 to 1997, including 8th grade Math, Language Arts, Science, History, 9th grade American History, and 11th grade Consumer Economics.

Michael Upton attended Western Illinois University from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Political Science.
