Established for over 20 years we develop technology to support carers and enable the elderly and disabled to live more independently.

The ideas behind our innovative products are driven by the practical needs of alarm-service users and we’re continually improving the way they work as well as developing new products and services in response to feedback from owners.

By talking to them and carrying out extensive research we aim to make it as simple as possible to stay in touch and remain secure. Typical of this approach is our Carephone Landline Pendant – it’s the only alarm system in the UK with a microphone and a speaker in the pendant itself. Most systems only provide these together in the base station which we realised was no help to the majority of users who were be likely to be elsewhere during an emergency – in this instance a speaker provides real comfort by letting the user know help is on the way.  

You can see further innovation in the Carephone Mobile where we recognised the valuable part GPS tracking technology could play in providing extra reassurance by being able to locate the handset (and therefore most likely the user) through a secure online portal.
