Sami Mohammed has been working in the IT industry since 2006. Sami began their career as a Software Developer at GIT, where they directed functions such as business intelligence, requirements gathering, pre-sales, feasibility studies, project management, RFP and proposal development, pricing, design and development, code testing, and application enhancement. Additionally, they provided in-depth training and support to government clients such as the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, and Dubai Civil Defense Department. Sami also successfully completed the Health Fitness Management project for the Ministry of Health, which automated the workflow processes of issuing medical certificates for the Preventive Medicine Department. In 2008, they joined The Executive Council, Governmnent of Dubai as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw in-house development, project management, QA, UAT, and application administration functions, and produced relevant technical documentation. Sami also formulated and executed IT strategy, conducted business needs analysis, identified new growth opportunities, and championed innovation initiatives. In 2019, they became a Senior Software Engineer at CareSimple - Remote Care Made Simple.

Sami Mohammed's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Sharjah, obtained between 2001 and 2006. Sami then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in IT Management from the University of Wollongong between 2012 and 2014. Most recently, they obtained a Professional Development Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning from McGill University between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, Sami has obtained various certifications from Coursera and Lynda.com, including Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, Business Analysis: Business Benefits Realization, DevOps Foundations, Blockchain Basics, Blockchain: Beyond the Basics, React.js Essential Training, Scrum: Advanced, Scrum: The Basics, Learning React.js (2016), and Become a Photographer.
