Cynthia Saunders

Cynthia Saunders possesses extensive experience in operational excellence and regulatory compliance within the healthcare sector, currently serving as an Operational Excellence Analyst at CareSource since December 2015. In this role, Cynthia oversees Operations regulatory requirements and manages the Claims and Provider Appeals processes for Medicaid, Medicare, DSNP, and Market Place appeals. Responsibilities include generating monthly reports, conducting quality reviews, and collaborating with the Operations Management team to identify and improve process gaps. Prior to this, Cynthia held various positions, including Appeals Specialist and Community Health Worker at Connecting the Dots Montgomery County JFS, as well as roles at Montgomery County Job and Family Services and Miami Valley Child Development Centers. Academically, Cynthia holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Marshall University.
