Kara R. has extensive experience in member and provider marketing within the healthcare sector, currently serving as Vice President of Member & Provider Marketing at CareSource since July 2014, following roles as Associate Vice President and Director of Marketing Product Development. Prior to CareSource, Kara R. worked at WellPoint as Manager II in Provider Network Management/Relations, overseeing a large network of Medicaid providers and conducting educational initiatives. Kara R. also held multiple positions at Amerigroup, including Provider Relations Director and Marketing Director, where operational processes and membership growth were key focuses. Earlier, Kara R. consulted independently and served as Director for a health improvement grant project at Hamilton County ESC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Planning & Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education, both from the University of Cincinnati.
