Rylan Austin

Rylan Austin, FSA, MAAA, currently serves as the Vice President of Actuarial Science at CareSource, overseeing the Medicaid and Individual Exchange Actuarial teams since May 2023. Prior to this role, Rylan was the Staff Vice President for Actuarial Services at Centene Corporation, where responsibilities included region lead actuary for various Medicaid health plans across multiple states from February 2020 to May 2022. Rylan's experience at WellCare Health Plans spanned from March 2014 to February 2020, with progressive roles from Actuary to Sr. Director, focusing on Medicaid markets in Nebraska and Hawaii. Rylan began a career in actuarial services with Aon Hewitt as a Retirement Actuarial Student and Financial Analyst from July 2012 to February 2014. Rylan holds a degree in Mathematical Economics from the University of Central Florida, attained between 2008 and 2013.
