The practice of trust and estate law requires a demanding array of skills and expertise. Tammi Caress, founder of Caress Law, PC, launched her firm in 2013 after more than a decade of practice as a trusts and estates attorney. Tammi’s detailed knowledge of trust, estate and tax law, as well as complex federal and state government regulations, assists Tammi in providing her clients with a variety of viable options suitable to their specific needs. She is one of just a few Oregon attorneys with a legal Master’s degree (LL.M) in estate planning. She received her training from some of the nation’s top legal experts, and has more than a decade of basic estate planning (wills and trusts), trust administration, and probate experience.

Tammi has extensive knowledge of special needs and charitable trusts, and estate, gift, and generation- skipping transfer taxes. An animal lover, Tammi also assists clients in planning for their pets.
