Mike Adams

Mike Adams is the Chief Executive Officer of We Are Purple since June 2016, where notable contributions include founding Purple Tuesday and EnableAll. In addition to leadership at We Are Purple, Mike Adams has been a member of Vistage UK since May 2018, participating in a community focused on leadership growth. Experience also includes serving as Executive Director at CareTech since June 2010, and previously holding the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Essex Coalition of Disabled People from October 2007 to June 2016. Additional roles include Non-Executive Director at Mid Essex Hospitals NHS Trust and Interim Chairman at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust. Prior engagement with the Disability Rights Commission and the National Disability Team further underscores expertise in disability rights and leadership. Mike Adams holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University and a degree from Coventry University.
